Getting Started With RBAOS: Your First Hour on the Platform
This guide covers everything you need to do in your first hour with RBAOS: setting up your account, configuring your workspace, running your first workflow, and understanding where to go next.
Account Setup and First Login
Creating your RBAOS account takes about two minutes. Visit rbaos.com, choose the plan that matches your needs, and complete the signup form. After email verification, you will land on the RBAOS dashboard, which is your central workspace for everything on the platform.
The first thing you will see is the onboarding checklist, which guides you through the most important setup steps. We recommend completing all five items on the checklist before diving into your own projects. They take about 15 minutes total and significantly improve the quality of your experience from the start.
Setting Up Your Workspace
Your workspace is where you define the context that RBAOS uses to give you more relevant suggestions and outputs. You can provide information about your role, your industry, your preferred working style, and the tools you typically use. This information is not required, but the more context you provide, the more useful the platform becomes immediately.
You can also connect your first external tools in this step. RBAOS connectors allow the platform to read from and write to the tools in your stack. Start with the tools you use most: your email, your project management system, or your code repository.
Your First AI Interaction
With your workspace configured, try your first interaction in the main AI panel. Start with something directly relevant to your work. If you are a developer, ask it to help you with a piece of code you are working on. If you are a writer, give it a topic and ask it to generate a first draft. If you are an operator, describe a workflow and ask it to help you plan the automation.
The goal of the first interaction is to see what the platform can do in your specific context. Do not start with a generic test prompt. Start with a real problem you actually have.
Exploring RBAOS Code
After your first conversation, explore RBAOS Code. Even if you are not primarily a developer, the coding environment is useful for anyone who needs to automate tasks, process data, or build simple scripts. Navigate to the Code section and follow the in-product tutorial, which walks through a complete coding workflow in about 10 minutes.
What to Do in Your Second Hour
By the end of your first hour, you should have set up your workspace, connected at least one external tool, completed a real task with the AI, and explored RBAOS Code. In your second hour, explore the workflow automation features: build a simple workflow that automates something you currently do manually. The workflow automation tutorial is the best starting point.
